Students were assigned into 13 groups to create webpages of the different systems of the body. Some groups were assigned new systems we didn't cover in class, while others went more in depth into a system we already studied.
Groups were provided with some resources and encouraged to find additional sources to address the following areas for their webpage.

- Description of how the system works with other systems in the human body and links to their sites.
- Relate a part or parts of the system to cellular functions such as organelles, cellular respiration, movement of substances through membranes, mitosis, etc.
- 3-5 check for understanding questions.
- Pictures to enhance the website and understanding
- References with active links to all resources used, including pictures.
Peer to Peer Critiques
Students paired up and provided feedback to other groups by reading through their webpages. We discussed what constructive criticism is and how to give meaningful feedback to help peers improve their work. All groups reported that this process was helpful with improving their website. Students gave compliments, asked questions, and made suggestions in addition to marking off a simple rubric for each component. In addition, students received two rounds of teacher critiques.
